Puissance - Power; might.

Hi Im a noob to KMC forums. i've had this idea for a while and been working on it for a while and am only on the third chapther. Here's my Prolouge to Puissance.
It's actually the shortest of anything for what I have typed so far. Chapther 1 is much longer as long as Chapther 2.
The only thing I fear is it may be shot down for my Prolouge. You won't understand the prolouge untill about untill mid-story. At first It'll just seems like im trying to have some big bad guy march around any ways here it is tell me if you like it.

Prolouge

The sun settled itself peacfully over the green grassy hills.
The hills that laid infront of, a large rapid river. The river that
was impossible to cross safely. It's rapids were so strong they
could pull anything under. It was a large river at that. It was
always making noise. Noise from the collashing of waves against the
rocks, then waves onto other waves. The stir of water as it hissed
down slumps throughout the long path it follow. What lay behind the
river was, mountains. Tall mountains that touched the sky. The clouds
hid there tops. It was rumored if you went high enough you'd die
instantly. You'd be frozen to death. The mountains arched around
expanding themselves in a behomoth circle. Between the mountains lay,
countless prairees, and other peacfull flowing rivers and lakes. The
land was called Ellen. Ellen is a Kingdome possed by King Gaddler. He
rulled all the land that lay between the mountains. The mountains
were his walls that protected his Kingdome. King Gaddler was one of
the most powerfull kings to ever exist. Certainly not one of the
nicest, or kindest though.

Gaddler slept peacfully in his bed, knowing no harm would come
to him. (Continued on next post)

Not with his gaurds waiting infront of his door. His archers
on the roof. The baricades on the castle entrance, the hallways being
patrolled. Never would he be hurt. Gaddler slept without worries,
without fears it was inhuman they way he slept and live. All must
have fears and worries it was natural, but he didn't.
He slept peacfully more comfortable then any of the Townspeaple
would ever sleep. He knew it to. He knew they would never sleep with
a bed exspecially made for him. Made out of the softest feathers in
the land. He didn't pitty them he laughed at them. There pain was his
glory. If the townspeaple life was luxjorious the king wouldn't be so
special. It was a life they could only long for. Gaddler slept untill
the sun creaked through his window landing on his eye lids. He
stirred for a moment. The next moment he creaked his eyes open, and
satup .

King Gaddler made his way out of bed. Snatching up
his sword wich lay leaning against his bed. His Swords hilt's base
color was white. But had Golden stride's around it. He glanced at his
gold incrested mirror. As he smiled. This was the face that all the
paple in this land hailed. He slipped on his belt with his Elagent
Scabbard attached. He had a strong thick white scabbard. The scabbard
had designs of golden Roses dazzling all over it. It was custom made
just for King Gaddler's sword. It blended in perfectly with the
Sword's hilt. Gaddler thought nothing of it as he slipped the sword
into it's sheath.

Then slipped on some white pance. With a white under shirt and
a gold vest. Then he threw on his over cloak. The cloak was white
except the golden borders and the golden designs on the center of it.
He walked out of his royal BedRoom. Only to be confronted by his Head
Knight. Arthdex. "Yes?" Gaddler asked.
Arthdex straightend up his back as he replys, "Sir. There
is a servant refusing to do his duty."
This came as a suprise to Gaddler. Who would dare refuse to
work for there King.
"Do you want him killed?" Arthdex asked.
"No I would like to confront him." Gaddler answered. Intrigued
by the servant.
"As you wish sir." Arthdex replied. Then leading Gaddler down
the maze of castle halls. Arthdex lead Gaddler to the Throne room.
Where there lay on his knees a crumbling weak man. He had brown
thinning hair and his clothes were practically rags. It didn't look
like he had been washed in weaks. His eyes showed fear for he
wouldn't look directly at his king.
King Gaddler was dismayed when he saw the servant. This servant
works in the royal castle and he looks like this. "How come you
havn't been bathed?" Gaddler asked agressivley. His left hand on his
hip and his right hand on his Sword hilt.
"K...k...king G..Gad.d..d..dler. I've been denied the acess of
bathing. The Royal kn...kn..knights w..wont let me." The old man
trembled in fear.
Arthdex's features shrunk in fear but no one seemed to notice.
"You lie!" King Gaddler screamed. "The Knights wouldn't do
that." King Gaddler yelled not realizing the Knights had been picking
on the old man.
Gaddler sighed as he pondered for a moment in a slightly calmer
tone he asked, "Why won't you obey your duties?"
"I beg of you sir. I refuse to because My Wife is pregant. Soon
my child will be born I want to be there. It's imporant to me."
Gaddler's eyebrows collashed together as they hovered over his
eyes giving them a darker feature. "You put your unimportant peasant
child's life infront of your dutie to me! I am your King. Realise
that now!"
The old man said not another word he knew what was coming and
it did. Gaddler quickly withdrew his sword and lashed out on the old
man. The sword's tip glided through the dirty wrinkled skin like
butter. Leaving the man's neck slit open. The dirty servant's head
bobbled for a moment, before his body went lifeless and he toppled to
the floor. The man would never to see, hear, talk, talk, taste, feel,
love or hate again. His life was gone he was dead.

(i hope this doesn't come out horribly I copied and pasted it from a WORD document).

Gaddler was silent as well, but he watched Vane's every breath
with interest. This lasted for another few minutes before Gaddler
decided to talk. "Why? and how did you ride that horse."
"Your Sire I completely apologize. I'll never do it again."
Vane spoke hiding the anger that burned inside of him. He clenched
his fist as he forced himself to obey. His Father would never obey.
This didn't seem to satisfy Gaddler so he beckoned
on. "Apologize for what?"
Vane's fist trembled, "For riding your horse. Your Majesty."
"I see what your doing. Your hiding."
"I have nothing to hide." Vane lied.
"That itself is a lie. You dodged my first question. How did
you ride that horse?" Gaddler stroked his grizzly gray beard.
Vane didn't no what to say he didn't want to defy Gaddler by
saying no but he could never tell him the truth. So Vane remained
silent.
"Your silence troubles me. It tells me what you refuse to.
I'll ask one more time how did you ride that horse?"
Vane looked up from the golden tiled floor to his King Gaddler.
Although Vane's eyes strayed from looking directly into Gaddler's he spoke up. "I just
wanted to try and see what it was like. I guess I could ride it because it was a talent of mine."
Gaddler let out a ferocious swing with his hand striking Vane
painfully. Vane only caught a glimpse of the swinging hand before it
struck. It had come at him so fast. The strength it had implied was
so strong as well. One would underestimate it.
Vane fell back tumbling onto his butt. He grabbed his face
pressing against it in attempt to soothe the stinging pain on his
cheek. How could an old man like that strike so hard Vane pondered.
"Do not lie to me." Gaddler spoke calmly. "Now one more
time." Gaddler scooted in front of Vane and with Gaddler's glove
finger he finger up Vane's chin. "Look into my eyes and tell me the
truth."
Vane didn't stray his eyes away he looked into King Gaddler's
strong complex Grey eyes. In the Kings eyes Vane could see a deep power pull.
They struck right into your soul seizing it squeezing it leaving you withered and paralyzed.
"Who showed you how to ride the horse?" Gaddler asked.
"I...I..." Vane stuttered. He wanted to look away from the
King's eyes but he couldn't. He was locked onto them. Forced to see
the brewing storm within. Looking into them made him feel weak,
small and insignificant. "I learned from-" Vane cut himself off. His
body was trembling but he had a flash in his mind. His Father. His
father the Knight in shining armor. Who feared nothing, no man. It
was a memory of his father smiling in his armor. The only one Vane
had. "I learned from myself. It seemed so natural." Vane smiled.
Breaking free of the trance he was in.

Gaddler's face went red. So red from even under his beard you
could see his red skin. He shot out another swift strike to Vane
knocking Vane back but before Vane could even fall Gaddler grabbed
him up by his collar and roughly tossed him up into the air.
Where was this man's strength coming from.
Vane's back landed painfully on one of the many step in the throne room. Vane's
lips formed a small 'O' leaning sideways his eyes squinting towards
the ceiling. He didn't see what was coming next. This atrocious pain
flooded through out his body he couldn't even tell where he had been
hit for the first several seconds. His whole body felt futile

"Ahhh!" Vane hollered. Realizing the steel toed boot of Gaddler had stuck
into his ribs. Vane fell off the step onto his back breathing
rapidly and deep. With each breath a whole new pain over came him.
When the pain advanced he kept breathing deeper and faster untill
Vane broke into Hyper Ventilating. This lasted for at least a whole
minute. Leaving his lungs sore and exhausted. Vane rolled his eyes up to
face the king. The king showed no emotional resent doing this. He
seemed somewhat proud of himself he manage to get Vane in a immobile
state with out barely any effort.
Vane stared at Gaddler with pleading eyes to stop. Deep inside
Vane wanted to stare at Gaddler through eyes of Anger and rage. He
was afraid though. Fear held it. Afraid that a look like that might
cost him a kick in the mouth. Vane hated his fear.

"Sit up now." Gaddler commanded.
Vane struggled to do so. After some haggling he did. Sitting up killed his ability to breath right.
"Good now since you have this natural God given gift to ride
horses. I want you to catch me a wild stallion. Next week you'll go
out retrieve one and come back simple. Yes?"
Vane choked back a wild Stallion. He could never catch a wild Stallion.
There were grown men in specific team that went out to catch a
stallion. This isn't a one man job. "Yes." He whispered.
"You won't come back without one or you'll be killed."
"Yes." Vane repeated.

That night before Vane had to go last night. Vane and his Mother
cried for fear she would never see him again. "Vane I love you." She
whispered to him.
Vane only hugged her as her tears sank into his greasy hair.
"Don't have fear. Be brave. Remember your father think of him and what he
conquered and accomplished. I see him in you." She smiled through her tears wiping back his hair, "You can accomplish anything." His mother smiled to him
as she finally let go of him and headed to the kitchen. She had stole
enough food from the Kitchen to make a small banquet that night.
When Vane devoured the food he knew he had had better food before but he didn't care. It was
more the love he was whole Hartley taking in not the food.

Memory Over***

"Thank you Mother." Vane kissed her on the forehead as he
finished remembering the incident. She had made him several food
packages so he didn't run low on food. "I won't disappoint you. I'll
come home with that Stallion." Vane spoke to her without looking back
as he left the barn stall. Why did his mother ever sleep in the barn
stall? She was obviously past eighteen and was aloud to sleep in the castle. She
had a perfect room presented to her in the castle. She said she
wanted to stay close to him though.

Vane plugged the key into the hole clicking open the castle
fences. He closed it locked it and headed towards the forest which lay
down off in the distance right beyond the nearest village.
