the main bloodvain is cut, so theres no blood going to the brains anymore, so you die. Plain 'n simple

no not really you will feel nothing just tired

You'd be best to do it in the bath so the water goes into your veins and does the job quicker and looks more impressive when the door gets kicked in by your distraught family, oh and don't slash across, slash the length of your arm so it's harder for any would be rescuers to stitch the veins. (I saw this on a program once, it's not like I'm an expert on suicide or anything)

If you get your wrist slited you have to press your arm so that the blood stops running , don't worry if it turns violet.
