Seriously, half the newbies registered recently are quite cool now, it doesn't take them long to settle, especially if we welcome them well.

I' ve seen members, who barely joined one month, advising other ones not to make garbage newbie threads.

There are good newbies and bad one.
There are newbies running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they were meant to do, are invisible. You'd never even know they were here. But the other ones, well, we hear about them all the time.
Every time you've heard someone say they know Radcliff's e-mail address, or any other movie star's. Every story you've ever heard about spoilers, 'who likes me?', or '.... sucks' is the newbie assimilating some member that's doing something they're not supposed to be doing.

People generally hate on "noobs" because of their own lousy self esteem. They use the whole "I've been here longer then you, so I am instantly smarter then you" approach when trying to argue with a "noob" who is smarter then them.

Also, most people who bash on "noobs" probably get beat up in real life and then take out their frusturations by picking on new members to a website. Since they can't do it in real life they try to redeam their own crappy self esteem by putting people down online. They tend to think they're tough shit, untill they get their lunch money stolen in school the next day.
