SUPERMANDAMAN
In comic books all these heros are supposed to pocess the power of invulnerabiliy but being invulnerable means that u cant be harmed but as we have seen superhoroes like superman, Hulk , juggernaut thor and so on and son have all been beatin and harmed so then how can they be invulnerable???????????????

Darth Jello
they aren't invulnerable, they are "nigh" invulnerable. nigh meaning near, or almost

Maelstrom
they are invulnerable to a bullet and some to a train and up it goes. if weakend some go down the scale.

Linkalicious
No one's invulnerable in the Marvel Universe. It's a comic book universe....the writers could just make up new inventive ways of eliminating someone's invulnerability.

SeptemberRain
all superheros have a weakness

Gregory
There's no such thing as invulnerability. Even Lucifer almost died, and he's widely regarded as being tied for the position of "Second most powerful being in the DCU."

SUPERMANDAMAN
alright so we all agree that there is no suck thing as true invulnerability so most superheroes are just really really durable

FrothByte
really? who almost killed lucifer? im not much of a dc fan, but id like to know who was powerful enuf to almost kill lucifer. smile

DarkCrawler
God?

SUPERMANDAMAN
in the comic book world buddy

Arachnoidfreak
there must be a God in the comic book world(specifically DC/Vertigo) if there is a Lucifer buddy

SUPERMANDAMAN
well i sure have never seen God fly down and help out any of the heroes before the only time i have seen God in the comics would be spawn

Gregory
It wasn't a straight fight. When the Japanese god of death gave him his wings back, she somehow corrupted three of the feathers. I don't entirely understand it, but later, while Lucifer was confronting a pack of magical cards, he unleashed his power against them, but the cursed feathers kept the power bottled up inside him. Unable to balance the power that was raging through him, Lucifer was consumed with flame and fell; he survived only through the actions of an angel and his own niece.

Arachnoidfreak
You dont have to see it. Living Tribunal says that he answers to "The One Above All," and that basically means God. That doesnt mean you have to see him in a panel. Besides that, there is so much controversy on what the actual God looks like(or if he even has an appearance, OR if there even IS a God) that no comic company would put God in their comics.

With the exception of a comic that completely revolves around the existence of Heaven and Hell, such as Spawn.

Gregory
And in DC, the Spectre is the Wrath of God. In Day of Judgement, some heroes actually travel to heaven to try to recruit a dead soul, Jim Courgian, to become the Spectre again.

Dark Vengeance
juggernaut is invunable

DarkCrawler
No his not. There are beings that could annihilate, destroy and kill him with ease.

Bojangles
etrigan is.....DC says he is immortal (but thats debatable)

DarkCrawler

Bojangles
yeah thats why i said its debatable

Arachnoidfreak
being immortal and being invulnerable are two different things anyway. Etrigan doesnt die, but that doesnt mean he can't be beaten to a pulp.

Victor Von Doom
Did not Thanos become The One Above All in The End? He achieved that via the Heart of the Universe, which was odd considering Marvel tend to personify abstract concepts, yet had their most powerful essence non-embodied.

Dark Vengeance
like who?
