Do you guys think Reeve's Superman films would have been more interesting if Lois kept on knowing that CK was Superman after the second film? Instead of moving on to 'Superman versus comic relief and the Super Computer', and 'Superman versus bad special effects and women that can breath in space'

In a way, she always does know, doesn't she?

In Superman III when Clark is going on about going home to Smallville, he holds up a highschool sweater with an S on it and she gets all thoughtful, like she remembers something but can't quite remember.

Then in Superman IV when she thinks Clark is committing suicide and they jump off his apartment building, Superman flies back to her with Clark's glasses on. As they fly he says she doesn't even know his name.

She replies it's Kal-El, and when he says "You remember, don't you?" she replies that she remembers everything.

Also when Clark is sick (in IV after battling Nuclear Man) Lois gives him Superman's cape. This is after he's kissed her to remove her memory of him (like he did at the end of II) so I think that from II onward, even if she didn't fully know, she always had at least a little hint at the back of her mind.
