I was wondering what is the worst advice anyone has given you.

I get a lot of horrible advices, but i dont take any of them.

someone told me i should kill my self i was like ok there

i got set up w/my first ex...that was a big mistake...bad advice goin off of "But she likes you..."

My freshman year when I had my first track meet ever, I was told that there is no pace for a 400 meter dash. Just sprint the whole thing. They were wrong.

sprint 400 meters...lol.... i'd like to see someone do that.

Yeah, it was brutal. I was winning for the first half

Then I passed out after the finish line

well...not to me...

but in class my friend was talking....and the teacher told her to 'get a life'...... das a bit harsh....she was only talkin!

OMG!! i did that as well

I hurt my arm, when i tried climbing a fence ( I fell on my arm) A week later I and my friend erica had to throw our friend up in the air, I told our coach that I couldnt do it because my arm was so weak she told me,

"Suck it up,and go for it, you can do it"

So I did it, and our friend went right through my arms, which caused me great pain in my arms, and a sore back for my friend.

I only give bad advices....I don't take 'em

400 meters is 1200 feet... sprinting is a level above running.... you'll pass out after that.

And I can bench 1000 pounds.

its not that hard, im a sprinter for my school track team...i kinda train to be able to sprint...

Your coach is mean...and stupid...

Mine was "don't die". I guess theoretically it was good advice, but it seems so incredibly obvious... Though taking it literally is a little out of context

oh and then another time when I was in Costa Rica with my science class, my science teacher dared me to eat my entire flan in two bites... So I tried it... it didn't look that hard, it wasn't very big, but it was really sweet, it was probably made mostly of butter and sugar lol... That was a bad, bad idea

I have gotten the same advice...

Sorry but thats bullcrap. I'm a sprinter too. You can run 400 meters, but nobody except maybe, MAYBE, an Olympian can sprint (but even then I don't know if it is truly all out for them). I have never met anybody who can SPRINT 400 meters and I have sprinted 4 years high school and 1 year under my belt in college. When I tried, I passed out and I'd do the same now. Trust me, if you sprinted 400 meters, you'd hit "the wall" big time.

Of all people, a track person should be the one who knows most that they won't be sprinting 400 meters anytime soon.

yeah, must be. I'm guessing he just has a different definition of "sprint". But then again, a track person should know what a "sprint" really is as well.
