Now everyone knows that the elves so totally rule, and the fact that they showed up at helms deep was great, ( to boring to see humans fight all the time) but was it just me or did it seem that the elves really got there ass kicked and that Urks really beat the hell out of em? just wanna know what everyone thinks about it.

In the bookses (precious ) Elladan and Elrohir went with Aragorn, and also, they probably chose mortal lives (since they did not go to Valinor) so maybe you both are right

Sad that their portraying in the film obviously led to a lot of misunderstandings.

... at least this is true for the End of the Third Age... their happy days are past, were already doomed to fade before mortals even existed.
