I was listening to this song, the Battle of Evermore by Led Zeppelin and I just realized that is has to do with the Lord of the Rings.
Did somebody know about this?

You could also try "Misty Mountain Hop", also on Led Zep's fourth album... and for excellent Led Zep parody, you can do a lot worse than listen to the first two albums by Queen, especially the tracks "Lily of the Valley" and "Seven Seas of Rhye..."

I have some Led Zeppelin CDs, but any from Queen

OOHHH!! i love that song!! Zeppelin rocks, alot of their other songs have to do with lotr, over the hills and far away, the rain song, the song remains the same, misty mountain hop, ramble on, parts of stairway to heaven, alot of them, i'm a huge zeppelin fan, i totally freaked when i saw the title to this thread

I'd have to say that I'm pretty sure that Stairway to Heaven does not have anything to do with Lord of the Rings. However, now that I read the lyrics, there are some things in there that could definitely be referring to the story too. I guess my point is that I really have no idea.
