i have a problem with uploading pics it tells me there to big, how do i make the pictures fit?

I use Microsoft Word to make it smaller

Make sure it's a .jpg or .gif. The rest almost never fit.

post it here and I'll make it smaller...on Photoshop.

ummmm i pretty computer illeterate how do i put the pic on to the forum i try to copy and paste and it dont work

Typoe what you are going to type, press the "Preview and Spellcheck" button, and at the bottom is "Attach..."

umm one more thing to make pics diff like jpg or .gif do u have to have word

cant u use paint r notepad

becuz i tryed to post the pics i liked and one said it was to big and another said it wasnt a jpeg r gif

like this...select .jpg although my mouse was over bitmap...

well maybe not notebad , anyways im still having a problem i get the part about attaching it but the problem is i have the picture when i try to upload 1 it tells me its to big and then when i try to load it normal it wont take it cuz its not the right file type, i try another picture then it wont take that one neither either im really confuzed are really stupid lol =)

lol did you change the file type? change it to jpg

ya i did that i tryed 1 picture and it told me its to big with the jpeg/gif file, and i tryed a diff picture and it wont work cuz its a diff file type a pic it was one saved from the internet site and it dont find it as a picture file r something, sorry bout this

Hey, I had the same problem last week and here's what I did. Save the pic to your Pictures Folder or to the Desktop or where ever. Then, after you save it, 'right click' on the pic and select edit. Once in 'edit', go to 'attributes' and change the . ... ... . hold on, I forgot what it's called, I'll go check.

Okay, forget the whole 'attributes' part. Click 'edit', go to 'image' and then click on 'Stretch/Skew'. In 'Stretch/Skew', there are two boxes that will say 100. Change the 100 to a smaller number and keep doing that until it works. I think I typed in 20 in each box and it was fine. You have to save each one though once you shrink it. Good luck!
