I'm saving up to go to New Zealand... hoping to see some LotR sites... but can anyone tell me some other really good places I should try and see?

Or does anyone have any advice or tips or just enerally cool things...?

Just outside Auckland theres a place called "Kare Kare Beach" It's on of the most amazing places on earth. They filmed most of "The Piano" there.

I've heard that there are loads of beautiful places in NZ, I'm sure you won't go far wrong anywhere you go

I have been to New Zealand
Was staying with my mums aunt and uncle in Auckland (North Island) we were there for 5months on holiday, there are some beautifull scenery there, i cant tell you much about other parts of NZ, as we only stayed on the North side, but that is well worth a visit anyway
I would so love to go again, and visit the places where LOTR was filmed, but money is tight at the moment, and i wouldn't want a 27hr flight again!!!
We did have stop overs every now and then, but it's very draining. Need to sleep at least a week to recover.
If you do manage to go anytime, enjoy the experience
