how do you think battles with ultimate people vs the normal counterpart. who would win. i know it not across the board just say someone and say what you think.

ultimate thor vs thor = dunno but ultimate thor was tearin up all those space ships which was tight

Hahaha. Nothing against originals but ultimates always seem ready to get into big hefty battles so I say ultimates.

O heck yea ultimate hulk is like one of the coolest characters ever i mean he freakin took down giantman, thor, ironman and cap. Might i add he knock out thor with one hit i wish they would of had him in the series more but he is a lil bit to destructive.

I think ultimate magneto is stronger than normal. I've seen him do things in ultimate xmen that ive never seen anywhere else. He just seems more in control and overall more powerful tbh.

Hey arachnoidfreak in ult xmen 17 i think it was. Magneto almost managed to reverse the earths magnetic poles but ofcourse, the xmen stoped him.
Hmmm i think forge built something to amplify his powers though.

Wow. Can't believe you said all that. Like it's not difficult enough being a woman and getting objectified and leered at on a daily basis. And why do the guys always assume that the woman wants that attention? "Hey, I just said you were hot--it's a compliment" Not really. Or another fave "Too bad you're spoken for, 'cuz if you weren't we'd have a real good time!" As if you have no say in the matter. Well, he wants to go out with you, so you'd better acquiesce, or else.

Of course, it's not like I haven't ever had an impure thought about comic characters--I was really physically aroused by the treatment of Beck by Venom in "The Madness"--when he's trying to kiss her, and she's so freaked out by the symbiote, and eventually he says "Quit your sqwackin' and let us do what we want" or something like that. She did not react well at all to that stuff--she was into Eddie but wanted no part of his "other". Lame.

Oh, yeah--we're talking about Ultimates. Depends on the character--and and you have to be open to new ideas. I think that the single biggest complaint that people have about the Ultimate charaters is that the stories have been altered or completely changed. Many are opposed to the warping of the stories they know and love--still others hate the new looks. To each his own.....

personaly i love the look of the ultimate characters and i think its about time comics were turned into modern day ones.

With the Ultimate universe they don't have to create characters, just reintroduce them. If they want to expand the Ultimates team, it's not a matter of inventing new characters, but picking names out of a hat to see who to Ultimize next. Although this can be a hinderance, as there are so many characters with an integral part in the 616 history, should they rush to include them, or wait a proportionate amount of time, like was done originally?

i hated ultimate venom... and im not too fond of carnage either. Everything else i've liked but those two chars... no, it just doesnt feel right at all.

i have almost all the ultimate comics and from what i've seen ulimate characters are weaker versions of the regular characters

imo ult. colossus is no match for reg. colossus from what i've seen in ult. and reg. comics

not really, only a few ult. characters are younger than their regular versions, colossus, thor, captain america, and wolverine are just a few of the characters that are the same age in ult. and reg.

What are you talking about most of the Ult characters are stronger than the originals. Ult. Cap is was above the regular and the same goes for Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk eye, Prof X, Wolverine, Sabre tooth and I'm pretty sure Collosus also, seeing as how Magneto was not able to hold him down when he was in Medal mode ,and not to mention he tore up Thor.

As of now considering how sucky the ultimates shipping schedule is weve only seen 13 issues of ultimates and alot of those are talking and such, thor hasnt really been shown as weaker or stronger consistently, i mean one day hes getting raped by Hulk and the next day hes destroying an entire armada of Skrull ships. Maybe when a few more issues ship well be able to tell for sure. And Captain America got his ass whooped by that one skrull commander. What shows hes stronger than the current 616 Captain America?

colossus standing up when in steel form while magneto was forcing him down was just really cheap imo, especially since magneto could just turn him into liquid without a problem, one of those last ditch efforts some writers use to make everything right again but of course thats just from my point of view

anyway it just proves that ultimate magneto is no where near as strong as reg. magneto

Well seeing as how the Skrull commander in Ult. had alot of super stregth was an awsome fighter and had a healing facter way above that of wolverine how was Cap suppose to beat him, i mean he choped the man in half and the guy just reformed again.

I dunno about that in Ult X-Men Magneto lifted up like a hundred sentinels and made them colide into each other and blew them up id say that pretty impresive. Also Ult Collosus is alot stronger that the regular i mean he stoped a huge train no problem when it was going full speed and he barely moved. He also picked up Sentinel and threw it about 50 ft in the air.

Ultimate Colossus is a match for the original. It has been stated that he is now at the 100 ton powerlevel unlike the original who is weaker. And in the Ultimate War he stood toe to toe with ult. Thor

I'm biased. I don't particularly care for the Ultimate comics. Except for the art. Original wins it for me.
