LadyEowyn
what was your favorite book out of the LotR series?
Mine was the Two Towers. (i thought gollum was funny)
mah
mine is two towers, too. or 2/3 of Return of the King, until the great battle is over, and they start going home.
Brith
Two Towers - even though most of it is running from one place to another.
LadyEowyn
thats kinda what i like about it. they dont stay in one place.
Captain REX
Either Fellowship or Two Towers.
Mujaffa
all of them... they're grrrrrreat!!!
Fitch
well....mine was The Hobbit.

Dexx
The hobbit takes place before the trilogy........
My favorite was the fellowship
Fitch
That is right but i was refering to what i read(partialy or totaly) from Tolkien.
Dexx
ok...no questions asked
Fitch
I am happy that you understand

Palanfirith
then.......hmmm.....how should i say........I'm sorry for you
I was happy that you understand(you said ok) at what i was refering to.Got it ?
Dexx
oh...shut ya yap already....
General Kaliero
I loved the way Gollum acted in the Two Towers!
L.E.
whenever i read what he said...i couldnt help laughing

Dexx
Actually...if u come to think 'bout it..Gollum had the crucial role
Palanfirith
dexx,this isn't a thread bout gollum
make one ,I'm sure that it will be a succesful thread
Dexx
Is that the best thing u could say on this thread?....Let the mods do the obs

Palanfirith
This was u're argument ? common....I thought you can do better than that

angel1
ny fav has to be the tow towers but i like the figth seen from the return off ther king
Exa
Changes all the time for me... usually it's RoTK... I also like book III in The Two Towers, but IV is rather "boring" (aww having to say that about LoTR

I mean, it's a little less interesting than the other books)... FoTR is nice but the beginning is too hobbity... so, yea, at the moment I think RoTK is the best.
ladygrim
WELL my fav is the two towers because it has got to go through all the palava on telling us the beginning of how it all started and it hasn't got an end so it leaves you to ponder on what is yet to happen .....unless you have already read the book or seen the third movie.
pipschick
Mine was the Two Towers also

ladygrim
it is just a good middle ..... even though i am a fan of hp afta a while i can't watch the oldest film but with lotr i can watch any
The Undertaker
Personally, TTT
You've become acquainted with the characters already, and it doesn't use time introducing and explaining things, like FotR
Discos
ah good point, however some new characters are introduced which takes a bit of patience to learnt he details for
Return of the King is far a more superior book,
Discos - especially without that damn spider in it
The Undertaker
yeah, but rotk ended too sad..
I'd stayed up all night to finish reading TTT, and when I was done, I was so anxious to get the next book...
sauron
because thats the one with the bloody 'the eagles are coming' quote
ladygrim
as i say its ttt because like a previous reply .they say you've already got to know the characters and number three you are seeing them being killed off ..so ttt is where you get to attact yourself to them so you can get upset at the rotk
Discos
Discos - you said it bud
pip-foot
fellowship's mine...i like the 'hobbityness' of it... and i like hearing about all the characters and getting to know them...
but, like exa, it changes all the time...
ladygrim
i don't think my favorite will eva change
azszhz
my favorite would have to be Rotk then TT
i just love Merry and Pippins storyline though i do agree that Rotk is the saddest, if olny cuz the books come to an end

ladygrim
yes rotk is the sadest of the three....
eezy45
TTT, or FotR...
But any of te three films are great
ladygrim
the whole trilogoy is good....it just one that you can rember best tends to be peoples favoreite...scuzz spelling...
Discos
wish the Silmarillion had pics, I found kick ass Morgoth & Tulkas pics on google
pip-foot
RotK is my favorite movie though

it was the longest, had lots of Merry and Pip and Aragorn, and was bloody awsome!!!!!
I liked it bookwise too...it's hard to choose...i like them all so much

ladygrim
god i had arse ache when i went to watch that...even tho i went out the cinema several times....for the gross bits ....i still manage to watch 3hrs of it
Discos
in the first week of it been showing in the cinema I went to in the City they had a 40minute interval half way through it
Discos - my ass wasnt soar at all, my eyes were from opening them in amazement

muse5
rotk, most definetly
ladygrim
god they didn'tt have an interval at my cinema...ruddy hell...
