I know this should be in the F13Th thread but no one would ever see it thier, please forgive me BF but I couldn't resist since I know theres a lot of Jason fans out there.

Well now Paramount has finally released the boxed-set of the first 8 movies, the set has 4 disc, two movies per disc. The special features are deleted scenes, commentary aswell as threatical trailers, trivia and 'where are they now?' of Jasons victims. I bet a lot of you guys never thought Paramount would do this but they have!

I wouldn't waste my money on this set. If the individual movies come out, buy those. Paramount first said all the versionswere going to be uncut, and now they are on pathetic flipper discs, with minimal extras, and are the original releases.

Only 2 movies are worth owning anyway, IMO.

I just want to buy jason takes manhatton. I love that movie.

It has been, for like 3 or 4 years now.

Only 1-4 are worth buying. But for some reason I have 6 and 9

I feel sort of cheated. I bought all 10 movies on dvd years ago........paid more than double the price of the box set.

Bf I own Jason Takes Manhatten, it's so good.

I bought them all for next to nothing on VHS. With the exception of the original none of them are good movies, but they are very entertaining. I probably won't buy the box set, depends on how much it will cost when it arrives in the UK.

I already owned all 9 Friday the 13th movies on VHS......bought 'em over the years. When dvd came out.....I started putting together a dvd collection...........so I bought all 9 again (Jason X hadn't come out yet) on dvd and sold my VHS tapes in a yard sale for $1 a piece.

U.K. is also getting Anchor Bay's new "Halloween" boxed set this year.

Sell all your movies for a box of 2 sided DVDs, with the same movies on them, plus a disc of extras?

Unfortunately ive never gotten around to seeing any of them.Maybe ill rent one this halloween
