According to http://www.superherohype.com/ Lions Gate Family Home Entertainment is going to release the first installment to an 8-10 part Animated Straight-to-DVD Avengers Movie Series in 2006!!!

The movie will include such characters as: Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Giant Man, and Wasp

The feature is based on Marvel's "The Ultimates" and is still in script phase. It is expected to be out in early 2006!!

I wish Marvel would have a couple new animated series put out.

It will be great to see the Hulk in animated form again in the new Avengers animated movie.

I think regular Marvel animation style is great. Not to mention the voices are all dead on. Nobody sounds more like Spider-Man than Christopher Barnes (I think his name is).

Regular? Do u mean like the cartoons of the 90's? If so then i hope it isnt like that. The animation in those cartoons where so shit, especialy xmen it just seemed so lifeless and totaly unrealistic

All the 90's marvel toons were better back then and X-Men was the greatest 90's toon created it wasn't about the quality it was about the story.

For me it's mostly about quality

well no. I didnt like xmen or the hulk. But i liked Fantastic 4 and iron man wasnt bad. SilverSurfer was good coz Thanos was in an episode or two, i think they should of kept SS going it was the best one of em excpet from fantastic 4. Oh yea and spiderman was excellent, lol actualy spiderman was my favarate.

Spider-Man cartoon was awesome. I've seen them all.

Also all.........14 of Surfers. The Fantastic Four were good. Not the shitty old one, updated Marvel. They crossed over too. Surfer was in some F4's, X-Men were in some Spider-Man, Doom was in F4 and Spider-Man....and Hulk.

yea i'd love too. I can barely remember the episodes, i was about 8 when i saw em.

It'd be wild to run animi movies but i hope they go forward with live movies. Im still getting over X-2. I've been holding my breath for an Avengers movie. These heros are huge, do they have to go back to origins for story introductions. Just walk em out into the world on screen and let em play.

Wonder why its called The Avengers if its based on The Ultimates? I guess more non-comic fans know who The Avengers are.

I doubt any kind of animation could do justice to Bryan Hitch's artwork. It'll probably be some form of Bruce Timm style. A cel shaded CGI-style like the MTV Spidey series would be cool, I think.

Ok first off wtf r u talking about? 2nd, Teen Titans is not marvel we were talking about marvel cartoons and no i dont like the stupidity of them trying to make it anime, it looks so stupid.

I do however like DC's JLA cartoons, they r realy good and tbh im glad xmen evoloution finished because the storylines were way to crappy and wtf.... they were teenagers?!?!?
