Well, I have 25, but I used to have more, but I had to delete a lot because a few viruses that we had on our computer...

I'd have takend a shot of that but I dont know how to do screenshots

55 they take up half me desktop lol. however i have 2 folders (desktop 2 and more folders). i put all my icons and whatever in desktop 2 after a clean up and same with the folders. Besides i think my wallpaper piccy is too nice to cover up :P

I have 6. I used to have more, but got rid of them all. They were blocking my desktop. I have My Computer, My Document, Recycle Bin and three other. I should delete them, but my brother will think I got rid of those programs. He's such a f***en comp n00b.

actally i changed my res to 1024 x 768 and it only fills 1/3 and made them all small icons .... i had more but feasibly i could not use them all

I used to have them covering thee whole desktop and then some. I accually had some off the scree and if I wanted to see them I had to delete things.
But then I re-formatted my HD and have like 23

My res is 1152x864

Haha, this is as much as I can stand. 1024x768 is the lowest I can stand. 800x600 is just way too mondo icons, I don't get why everyone needs them so big

Because if they're any smaller I can't find them

as for shortcuts, ive got 21 in my dock on the bottom of my screen

Thats why I use 4 different workspaces...
