Although this might be a little old.... I’m pretty new to the forum, Infact this is my 1st post, and I just feel I have to get this off my chest. Although the X-men movies stuck to the overall plot of the X-men series. The Mutants vs. Humans plot and Xavier ploy for human and mutant peace, and Magnus's plot to overthrow humans and bring about mutant prosperity. Although it stuck to the big stuff, sometimes it’s the little things that bother me.

Customs: Although the took the idea of making a "team' costume, instead of individual ones.... I think that was an excuse for their laziness. Wolverine and probable the coolest costume in comic book history. But no, they got lazy and gave them a bunch of jackets w/ an X on their shoulders. The only costumes they did relatively well were the Magneto and storm costume.

Storyline: Did not follow the comics or cartoon. Why the heck do we have a preteen rogue in the X-men...Why? She doesn’t have miss Marvel's powers, she half herself. Why is pyro in the X-men? Why? I bet none of the damn scriptwriters know anything about the X-men. Sigh...

I dunno.... the movies disappointed me.... I don’t think they spent enough time or effort... just satisfactory time and effort.... Which in return the die-hard X-men fans got a satisfactory movies...sigh.... Well see if they improve on the next one.

well the only thing i've got to tell you is that you shoudnt start a new thread to tell your opinion, try to find a thread with this subject and post your opinions about the movies there by the way, welcome to KMC and have fun here

the thing i disliked about the x-men movies was that everything but the general plot was so WRONG. Odd pairings, wrong age, wrong looks... that wasn't good

No movie ever goes along with one hundred percent of the book or comic or what ever. I could give a real good example but i doubt any of you would get it. Plus it has nothing to do with X-men. So i'll spare you from it.

#1:Why does nightcrawler have scars/tatoos!
#2torm is supposed to have blue eyes!
#3:Nightcrawler is supposed to be 16!
#4:Kitty is supposed to be 16!
#5:Nightcrawler is supposed to like Kitty!
#6:Nightcrawler is not supposed to be so saintly and preist-like, he should have had more funny lines!
#7:Rougue was played by a bad actress!
#8:Why the hell are Iceman and Rogue together!
#9:They should have put at least a little bit of Jubilee in there!

Anna Paquin isn't a bad actress! She won an oscar at the age of 13 (or something around that age). And she is a fellow New Zealander.

yea paquin is ok. but i cant wait to see when she gets to take Ms. Marvel's powers.well i am going based upon X-men T.A.S

It's not dat I am against or whatever it is t'reason out about de X-Men movie. It's just dat I was DISAPPOINTED with what I totally saw in de movie. I waited for it since I was a kid. And I was like "" when I finally heard about de filming of X-Men. But after I watched de movie, I was some kind of "" ...

They should've "at least" follow the trace of de X-Men comics.
But it was very DIFFERENT... and a very non-X-Men idea.

There should've been Angel and Beast in de movie.
But dey where nowhere t'be found when Wolverine stepped in to de mansion.

But no matter how it was shown ... I still appreciate de movie ... "at least" ... dey brought one of de kids' dreams into reality.
