firstly, it doesnt hurt THAT much
secondly, its better than shaving, because shaving cuts the hairs from where the skin is, and makes the hairs grow back thicker (which means darker) and quicker, where as waxing actually pulls out the hairs, so they get weaker and weaker, and eventually stop growing and after waxng a few times it doesnt hurt!
so really its not stupid at all!
