PrefectRonnykin
Maynard James Keenan and Villie Valo

Darth Revan
Maynard James Keenan is the man, I think one of the best rock vocalists ever. He's incredible in both his bands.
Also...
The dude from Deftones
Brandon Boyd (Incubus)
Zack de la Rocha (RATM... even though he's a rapper

)
Serj Tankian (SOAD)
Christina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil)
PrefectRonnykin

Fearnix
Zack de la Rocha is shit but all the rest are good
Darth Revan
Zack de la Rocha is anything but shit. The man is a genius.
Darth Revan
I see. And this would have what effect on actual talent?
Fearnix
and how dose being a genius make him sing better
Darth Revan
Obviously he doesn't have a good singing voice, because he doesn't sing
He's still a good vocalist. Being a good lyricist is part of that.

Alpha Centauri
Darth Revan man........the song is on Rage's first album
Know Your Enemy? The classic lines "I got no patience now....so sick of complacence now"? That whole part is Maynard. Can't believe you didn't know that.
He also done a song with Deftones on their White Pony album called Passenger. Other collaborations included David Bowie and Tori Amos.
Maynard is my joint first favourite. I think Chris Cornell is the best singer alive though.
Zack De La Rocha has a hypemeister voice. He owns.
Female, probably PJ Harvey or Joni Mitchell.

Myth
Serj Tankian. Its so unique.
Fearnix
this forum is about voices not lyrics
norrin radd
yes, did you listen to the "bring me the disco king" from the underworld soundtrack, a david bowie song with the participation of maynard and frusciante, AWSOME.
Fearnix
david bowie

Alpha Centauri
"Serj Tankian. Its so unique."
He wouldn't have that style if it weren't for Mike Patton. Same goes for Brandon Boyd.
Bowie rules. I thought it was Danny Lohner on Bring Me The Disco King, not Frusciante. Obviously not.
-AC
finti
Ian Gillan, Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury, Glen Hughes
norrin radd
ROBERT PLANT IS GREAT
Victor Von Doom
It's an RATM song from their debut.
I'd go with Maynard male, PJ Harvey female.
Alpha Centauri
Cedric Bixler has a very very great voice also.
-AC

Thom Yorke has possibly the most haunting voice in music.

Fearnix
the best death metal voice. Chuck Schuldiner
finti
well I let him share it with Jeff Buckley
ElectricBugaloo
I really like Elliott Smith's voice, it was just so perfect for his music (RIP), but the best singer ever, at least in my opinion, is Marvin Gaye. You can't go wrong with Motown voices, they were pretty much all great in their heyday.
Also, Daryl Palumbo from Glassjaw
