This is weird, because the song is happy and cheery but "The Boys Of Summer" always makes me feel sad and depressed. It was last year where I kept hearing it, what's weirder is that I had a really really good summer so.... *confused*

I'd say anything from Grace by Jeff Buckley, although it's more melancholy than 'depressing'. Depressing is shit music.

Anyone who makes music for the sole purpose of making you feel shit, is a shit musician. Conveying your own depression is a different matter.

well maybe we should use the melancholy word instead, but normally these types of songs are beautiful i loved them. take for example Radiohead, listen to street spirit, fake plastic trees, airbag, the tourist, let down, etc etc etc.

I don't know why everybody left out the smashing pumpkins, they are one of my top three most depressing bands. The other two are radiohead and bright eyes.
