...I completely forgot about the induction ceremony for my community service club, the LEOs.... and now I don't know what excuse to give... my parents'll kill me if they find out.. any suggestions?

It's a cookout, all the members of the club go. We were sent an email, and I replied that I'd be going... and at the cookout the new President, VP, etc. are brought into office... I'm the new Treasurer, and I wasn't there... sometimes we get in the newspaper for this... but I was there last year... shit.

Anyway, only way I remembered was an IM from the new president on AOL: "hey y werent u there today?"

Wow....will it be really bad if your parents find out?? I was also gonna suggest the "I was sick" thing....but no-one believes that anymore. Hmmmmmm........ You can tell 'em you were busy with something.no???????
