Their is a Favourite bond film so i decided to make you least fav JB film.
my least favourite JB film would be Die another day.

what its the truth. i really disliked DAD

Why?

cuz it seems like its not 007 movie its like the american vresion of JB.

Die Another Day

1. It had Halle Berry.

2. The best opening sequence in Bond film history.

3. Best Bond car.

4. Best Pierce Brosman performance.

5. It was the highest grossing Bond film in history.

Just a few points.

A View to a Kill.

cuz it was more american. and halled wasent a good choice and the scene where he is getting chased by that light beam what ever it was. COMMON that is such an american film. it only got the most money cuz it was more action and less story plot.

about those points TFP...

1. yeah, that bothered me too, I don't think she's that pretty and when it comes to playing a secret agents, she sucks beasants

2. Best? I dunno, but it was darn good

3. not by a long shot, the vanish bothered the hell out of me, gimme the Z3

4. That's your pov, I would say that he had his moments in it, but not that stunning

5. have you considered the power of the currency? I mean, the oldies made a few (50?) million dollars, in those days that was a lot, now you can't even shoot a movie with taht amount!

but to say mine... OHMSS... lousy bond, stupid blofeld can't recognise bond when he's in front of him, stupid FX, annoying catching of blofeld, marriage where there shouldn't be any (or at least longer), ...

Erm, yerss - WHEN did they catch Blofeld in OHMSS? And the FX are pretty awful in some of the other Bond films too. I mean, even in DAD - that parasailing bit {which was done with CGI} was terrible!

Having said that, I also think that OHMSS is one of the weaker entries in the series. But then again, I can see what they were trying to do...

I think my vote would be for Dr. No. It just doesn't have the entertainment values that the other Bond films have.

And I see what you're saying about Dr. No ... but I still think it gets a bit boring on repeat viewings...

well, it's been luckily some time ago since I last saw it

and I haven't seen Dr No enough then I take

Dr No is a nice adaptation of the original story

On Her Majesy's Secret Service #1 (though I like the theme song)
From Russia With Love #2 (it's a Sean Connery film)

SC is the Bond IMO.

Hmm well any bond movie that continually breaks my suspension of disbelief i.e. makes me think, "oh s**t, bond just told a tiger to sit and it sat" this is just a movie! (as happened in Octopussy) gets my vote as the worst. Octopussy was laden with that kind of thing all the way through.

DAD had some moments like that too but committed a worse offense by making the action scenes sooo well correographed that it removed any sense of reality or sense of real danger. Particularly with the car chase scene on the ice and the finale in the plane. The escape from the plane was just nonsense! I was quite happy to accept a similar kind of escape in The Living Daylights as it all looked reasonably feasible in a bond kind of way.

So thus..worst bond films for me are those that ruin my suspension of disbelief and make me lose interest in the rest of the movie and as I've said, Octopussy was the worst offender in that catagory for me.

well not reallly... just that goldeneye didnt like \... i dunno how to excplain like 4 exaqmple when I first saw tomorrow never dies or die another day, I was so...into the movie u know, i wanted to kow what was gonna happen etc. but with goldeneye it was like... oh ok... i saw it i liked it but it wasnt as good as the others....

I was never too fond of TLD but in light of recent *efforts* I may just check it out again rather soon...

Necros makes a pretty good henchman compared to the lame ones Pierce has encountered. His fight in the kitchen and the part where he "gets the boot" were the film's two highlights for me...

yes, octopussy does have a great Pre title sequence and most of the action and stuff in the movie as a whole was great. It's undoubtedly an entertaining bond, and has an almost indiana jones feel about it. Problem is the parody side of it just went to far and spoiled it for me.

FRWL dull? I suppose with todays CGI enhanced, MTV style quick edited Bond films a tendancy towards strong, intellegent story telling is out of the equation! But yeah, terrific fight scene. Without doubt one of the best of the series!
