um.........a little flick called The Rocky Horror Picture Show.........quite the cult following, well deserved.

Cult? Found it's audience somewhere other than the mainstream.
It's hard to choose from the ones in the list, I like to many of them.

However, some huge ones were left off in UHF, Toxic Avenger, Evil Dead, Airplane, Darkman, They Live, andy of Ed Wood's movies, any of Stanley Kubricks Movies, any of Peter Jackson's old movies, etc.

I wouldn't consider The Big Lebowski, Royal Tenenbaums, or The Frighteners (yes, it is a P.J. movie, and a bad one) "cult".
