Well its not really a style, is it. I believe Gollum is not a withered ex-ring bearer, but an Albino hobbit. Hence the random strands of hair, the fear of bright sunlight etc etc.

So, the fact he tried to do something with his wisps of hair shows that he has, at least some, self confidence, so good on him.

I give it ten out of ten.

Orc mothers care for their alpha child.

Orc fathers generally dont know which orc children are theirs, as Orcs reproduce in a mating pit, during a certain season. This orgy culminates in the birth of small ugly orc children.
Each orc mother gives birth to about 7 children, 6 male and one female. The female is cared for and kept safe for further breeding purposes and the 6 males are made to come into constant conflict with one another, the one who eventually becomes strongest is care for all his life and gets a well paid cushy desk job inside Barud dur, while the other five are made to recruit the mordor army and go to their deaths.

So in short my answer is yes, and no.
