Umm...you people know the first rule of Mix making, right? You cannot put the same band twice on the same album. And if you do so, the two songs CANNOT be back to back. It's just not a mix then.

ElectricBugaloo
great mix.

Lord_Andres
hehe whatever, didint know there acturly where any "rules" but what ya think of my secound cd?

ElectricBugaloo
not my type of music, not familiar with the particular songs from any of the artists. Sorry.

since the question was a MIX of diffrent artists not a best of, greatest hits nor a gold collection of a few artist

Deathblow
My definition of a mix is a compilation of songs by any number of different artists or different albums. Also, when hip-hop artists compile tapes of all their own material, they are called 'mix-tapes'. Honestly, I don't see the problem. Does it really bother you that much?

Silver Stardust
My definition of a mix CD is a mix of various songs by various artists that you like yes

my cd follows your rules pretty well except these 2.

9. should have followed this rule..but wasn't a hundred 100% on the flow.since I am pleased..I will probably re-make the cd following this.

I'll be all eyes! I love mixes, can't wait to see what you put together

ElectricBugaloo

Hey ElectricBugaloo a little challenge for you, we are going to a party with the theme COWBOY. A mix cd for a cowboy night, any suggestion.
Thought some Eagles and the Good Bad Ugly thing maybe some Kenny Rogers. But since you are the master of the mixes I would love to see any suggestion from you

Samurai Guy
Cowboy... are you going western and country thinking?

You can always have the theme song from Bonanza

finti
bonanza whoa excellent suggestion, well the party theme is cowboy so
I`m looking for some heehaw cowboy tunes. More cowboy then country and western

Samurai Guy
Thanks.

Um... lets see... country music

1) Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks
2) Mercury Blues - Alan Jackson
3) Thank God I'm a Country Boy - John Denver

...that is the extent on my knowledge of Country. You can always look into the Dixie Chicks.

ElectricBugaloo
Johnny Cash--Folsom Prison Blues
Willie Nelson
Arlo Guthrie

lots of old school country, that is more "cowboy" than the commercialized modern country

finti
you got to be joking.

ElectricBugaloo

I find it ironic that I made a driving mix since my car was just totally destroyed; apparently largen-than-golf-ball sized hail will go straight through windows and cause many dents.
But this mix would be good if I could drive, so you should try it for a nice quick hour of driving.

DISCLAIMER: Do not drink while driving

Samurai Guy
I am not a country fan. I am grasping at straws.

finti
i take it as you were joking thenbig grin

Samurai Guy
More or less, yes. I dont anyone would want to look them up.

I still cannot believe they ruined Landslide by Fleetwood Mac.

The Who- Teenage Wasteland
The Alman Brothers- Midnight Rider
The Band- The Weight take a load off fanny
Simon and Garfunkle- Me and Julio Down By the Old School Yard

ElectricBugaloo
The Who song is called "Baba O'Riley" not "Teenage Wasteland". And I think That "Cats in the Cradle" is by Harry Chapin. Unless it's a live version "After Midnight" is just by Clapton. Also, I'm not aware of a Doobie Brothers cover of "Cocaine", the only versions that I've heard are the original by JJ Cale and the more famous cover by Clapton.

Afro Cheese
Mabye I got some of the names wrong... I really dont know I just wrote what it said. Cats in the cradle was the song by Cat stevens that is pretty famous and it is about a dad and his kid. Mabye that isn't the name but that's what it says on the mp3. The midnight rider one is a cover and it says "rare" on the thing so mabye that's why you haven't heard it. I actually messed up on Cocain, It was supposed to say grateful dead- cocain and then doobie brothers- black water. My bad.

ElectricBugaloo
Oh, and Imagine is by John Lennon, not The Beatles ; )

Afro Cheese
I actually knew that but it said the Beatles so I thought maybe it was a different version or something. You'll have to forgive me classic rock isn't my area of expertise.. I know a lot of the songs but when it comes to the artist and song names I forget alot.

ElectricBugaloo
That's all right, I'm here to set ya straight. That inspired me to make my own classic rock mix which should be arriving shortly...

Joe Walsh is ****ing awesome. He was in the Eagles for a while, and he's the only good thing to come from The Eagles.

Afro Cheese
I guess I'll have to give him a try then.
