remember the shootout scene in the bank near the end of "point break"? the cop. he takes out patrick swayze, keanu, and two more while taking a 12 gauge blast before he is killed. the only thing that saved the former presidents are their flak jackets.

^ eh...they didnt poisin him cuz they needed him to fight and the trojans didnt get near nuff to kill him....they didnt shoot him cuz thats not how things worked back in the day.....and...uh....er...i dont know bout the last one. but im certainly NOT complaining about seeing him walk around naked on screen

how can Achilis be deemed an action star? The character on film is best known for one crappy movie.

More reason I hated the theatrical version of Troy. Complete bastardization of Greek/Roman mythology.

I dont think anyone can argue with the fact that the greatest hero's are john Mclane, an Indiana Jones. Of course there are other greats, but these babies are the monsters of badassism.

better yet, he could die of hyperthermia, since he never seem to have any clothe on.
slip on a rock and fall down from the cliff?
died from overexhaustion?
why didn't he have allegic reaction to leather? then he would have died in the second scene, boy what a relief that would be, *go on dreaming about how Achilles could have died *

he's not immortal, he died in the end.
remember when he got shot by arrows?
if only an arrow had swayed towards him during one of the ealier battle scenes.

I'm not speaking about the fecally magnificent movie, I'm referring to the acutal mythology. Aside from his heel (hence the name Achilles heel... wow!), the man was essentially immortal.

how hard is it to understand? he was immortal except for his heel which is where he was shot with the arrow
