Introducing The Art of Revenge

With the approach of each of the prequel films, starwars.com has launched a regular image series allowing visitors to begin exploring the visual depth of the forthcoming film.
For Episode I, the Snapshot series provided daily pictures starting a month before the film's release. During the production of Attack of the Clones, readers were treated to weekly photos hand-chosen by the director in the George Lucas Episode II Selects series, and then received regular production photos once the film debuted in the form of Image Attack.

For Revenge of the Sith, Hyperspace members have already been enjoying the weekly Before the Helmet series. Starting next week, a new image series will be available for all visitors. Art of Revenge explores the amazing wealth of concept art generated by the Art Department. Under the direction of Ryan Church and Erik Tiemens, hundreds of breathtaking and intriguing pieces of original art have been developed to help George Lucas envision the final chapter of the Star Wars saga. Each illustration, painting or design represents one step in the creative process, some being very close to final designs, while others being creative departures that never make it to the movie screen.

The Art of Revenge begins August 23, and will continue weekly.

The first one is up titled "ARC 170 Standing By"
