Avril is about as big a poser as I can think of. She is a teenybopper following the processed punk ideals, such as looking purposely unkempt and as gruff as a rich teenage girl can. She truley is hardcore.

She makes songs like "Sk8er boi" (purposely misspelling words, and adding numbers, because all real punks exploit their own idiocy) and makes videos of herself running a muck in a mall, showing everyone that only the most hardcore of the hardcore can act like morons in public vascinity, but of course only after it was locked down and they have security gaurds watching out for her well being while "trashing" a mall. Good for you Avril, you're exactly what you hate, a poser.

Also, what kind of name is Avril? Sounds like a pain killer or something. I would aprove if she died.

In defence of Avril, I think she's hard working, talented, obviously cares alot about her fans and her music... which, lets be honest, is deeper and more relevant than, for instance, The Cure, or Tori Amos... she's attractive, friendly, and not a victim of her own hype, and it makes a change to see a non-manufactured female singer song writer in the charts so consistently... Avrils here for the duration, and her growing number of fans will still be buying the albums in thirty years....
