Umm... Sadly, I forgot the band's name again. But they re-do "Don't Fear The Reaper" by blue oyster cult... the song was on that movie called "the frightners" any1 know what I'm talking about??

its on one of their early albums ("in a priest driven ambulance"wink when they were more loud punk rocker types. they originally intended to sing it sarcastically but the joy of the song shines through and makes it the best version of the song ive heard. as you like the song i recommend you hear it - good stuff smile

i didnt realise that was by her - katie melua also has that on her album (i got it for my mum for christmas).

Right now, It's Elliott Smith's cover of John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" It is just so...perfect. The lyrics are so great, and Elliott Smith's voice with the acoustic guitar cannot be beat.

I like the version of "Can't keep my eyes off you" that Muse did. I also love "No Quarter" done by Tool and "Bring the Pain" done by Mindless Self Indulgence.

As for me I prefer songs in orignal version. Oh, maybe the most of them stick out tongue I like how Tom Jones covers some kinky 80's songs.
