I was just on the phone to the Gf and we were trying to decide when Tom Hanks Jumped the Shark : She says post-gump 1994 , I say you can't say that Hanks trully jumped the shark 'till 1999 because that way you would have to discount one of the greatest most moving cinema performances ever given.

Anyone else have an opinion on this? No? Anyone?

I dunno if he really has because even before gump he did movies like Sleepless in Seattle. I think he does junk then a good safe performance then back to junk.

and even though the ladykillers wasn't the best movie I still think he gets bonus for it since it is a Coen brothers film.
