Well I know Monsters Inc. is almost 3 years old but I am fairly new to the movie. I just bought it last Sunday and it was my first time watching the movie all the way through and boy did it start my waterworks. I cry everytime I watch this movie. And believe me, I have watched this movie many times since I first bought it a week ago, like almost everyday and sometimes 2 times a day. If it wasn't for other things that I was doing I would be watching 3 or 4 times a day. I love this movie that much. In my opinion it is the best Pixar Movie of them all and probably of all the future Pixar Movies. This movie has gotten me stuck on Pixar now.Now I plan to buy all of the Pixar Movies and watch all the future Pixar Movies I have it so bad that I'll cry sometimes because of reviews that I read about Monsters Inc.. I even cry through random parts of the movie now because I know what's going to happen in the end.In my opinion Boo stole the movie. I love Boo and everything about her. She is so cute. I hope they make a sequel to Monsters Inc.. I really wished that they had shown the reunion between Boo and Sulley, because I really wanted to see Boo again and even though we know they got to be together again, we the audience didn't get to see it so I feel like I missed out on something and I don't feel complete. So yeah I really miss Boo and all the other characters and I really hope they do a sequel. If they do a sequel I want it to come into theaters and then DVD and Video instead of straight to DVD and Video, because I didn't get to see Monsters Inc. in theaters, which I really regret because I wasn't interested at the time, and plus I think that movies that goes to theaters get more recognition, acknowledgement and appreciation than movies that go straght to DVD and Video. So please let me know what you think and feel about the movie and if you think they should do a sequel, which they probably will cause Disney has said that after their contract with Pixar is over they are going to do a sequel to all of Pixar's Movies even to Toy Story 3, which I am greatly against. So hopefully they will do a sequel and we can all see Sulley, Mike Wakowski, and best of all Boo! So state your opinion and let me know what you think. Greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

I liked the first one. I watched it in Best Buy on one of the display TV's beggining to end.

How did you pull that one off. Did you just stand in the middle of the floor the entire time, lol. That's interesting. Never heard anything like that before.
SlipknoT
No, they had a couch there
powerfulone1987
oh how convenient, did your parents shop the entire time?
SlipknoT
No, they dropped me off at the mall and there is a best buy built on to it
powerfulone1987
Oh that's cool.

Great movie.

7.5/10

I love this movie, one of my favorites of 2001. Pure Gold.

I have to disagree here - sometimes it's the things we dont get to see that resonate the most. The reunion was not for us, it was for Boo and Sulley alone and in that had far more impact for me.
PIXAR can do no wrong it seems - and much as I adore Toy Story 1&2 - Monsters Inc is a strong contender for my Fave pixar movie.
TheFilmProphet
True. Do you think The Incredibles will also be a contender?
Mr Zero
I have mixed feelings about the Incredibles. A pixar superhero movie should by all accounts be the greatest movie ever made - the Citizen Kane of our age, liquid gold poured into our eyes - a 90 minute slow motion pornstar cum-fest for the soul.
I'll be happy if it doesnt suck and makes me laugh.
All Pixar films so far have exceeded my expectations so wildly that it's about time they missed the target - and I worry that this might be the time. Fingers crossed.
TheFilmProphet
Agreed. Although we already know it will make tons of money with the little kiddies regardless of how bad or good the film actually is which is why Pixar will always make films.

Don't forget about their contract with Disney being stuck in the balance. We don't know if they will sign again because of disagreements. If Pixar doesn't sign again with Disney then it's not a sure thing that Pixar will be make more movies.

Yeah, I hear where you coming from. And without me even knowing it I might feel the same way inside about it as you do, because I cry everytime I see the movie and I don't think it would have such an emotional impact on me as it does now if I had gotten a chance to see Sulley's and Boo's reunion. But I still can't help wishing though, cause I miss Boo so much.

I like that movie. It is cute and it is a very good movie.Since Disney is going down hill I was surprise that they made such a great movie like this one!JM

I would have never guessed that a hardcore Horror fan like you would have liked monsters INC.
BackFire
Yes, it surprises most people. I love it, however, one of my favorites.
Scarpa
Yeah it pretty good I have it on dvd

Monsters Inc. is def. one of my favorites of all times. I have owned the movie since it first came out and I can't count how many times I've watched it. My sister had never seen it so I just re-watched it again a few days ago. I esp. love the "retakes" at the end.

Pixar have made some of the most brilliant movies I have ever seen.
Toy Story, The Incredibles and Monsters Inc are the best by far.
Pixar are movie Gods. Every scene in their films is a joy to watch.
We don't need to take my younger brother to these films anymore. We don't need the excuses anymore. It's rather cool to go see these films now. I go with my friends, I always did (seems everyone else got the idea that they werent just kiddy flicks a lot later than we did).
We walk out of every Pixar movie with a smile on our faces, purely satisfied with our purchase and having very little to say other than "That was f*cking brilliant".
And with Cars on the horizon, this won't ever stop.

This movie, for an animated movie, was really really adorable and well funny.

You say they won't stop, but I'm thinking that after they break away from Disney, which will be after "Cars" is done being made, then they won't make any more movies, but maybe they can still do it, I don't know. But from what I have been hearing, they won't be....I think.
