finally the heats for rock eisteddfod have been. ive just gotten home from a VERY long day *sighs*
if you dont know what rock eisteddfod (rock ed) is ( shocking ) then it's where government schools all over australia make up dances ... perform in the heats ... then if your good enough, get into the finals ... then the winner for each state gets the video of their perfomence put in a competition to see the winner of the whole of australia
our school this year's theme was the taj mahal and it was so much fun today! we spent the whole day (9.00am till 10.00pm) getting ready, and eventually performing
our school got 10 awards (i think) out of the maybe the 15 awards there were, so we did really good diva and we find out tomorrow (i think) if we get into finals, and im so excited!!!!!

Right now it's Friday 11:46 PM my time.

It's 2.50 PM on Saturday on the east coast, 1.40 PM on Saturday in South Australia, and 12.50 PM in WA, which is where misha is

WE CAME SECOND!

well we had the rock eisteddfod finals last night (from 7:00am till 12:30am which is why i wasnt on kmc yesterday) and WE CAME SECOND! out of 13 schools, my school came second

but......

we would've come first, except our backstage crew were 26 seconds out of the time limit to get the sets up and down and thats only because our sets were 5m tall, while other schools sets were 2.5m tall, so we needed about 5 people to lift our sets ... so we have a excuse, but still, WE CAME SECOND!!!! WOOOOOOT!

MISHA !!!!!

they only have placings from 1-5 .... you get awards too! we got about 5/6 awards, this other school (which we beat) who are ALWAYS REALLY GOOD got two awards and the people that one got 1/2 awards

we're going to buy the dvd

were getting 3 versions of it
1) the school gets a copy of only our school performijg, but its only the longshot view, with no close ups or anything
2) the one on tv is long shot, close up, everything, but its cut short so all the schools fit on the show
3) the actual dvd of it, where its got the full version, close ups, diffferent views and everything

a) you wouldn't be able to catch me, and b) checking is nothing like tackling, it's a lot more subtle...when people try to check me I normally side step them and slash them as I skate by, or shove their helmet into the glass...both of which are illegal, but hard to call
