Maverick2364

RaventheOnly
there are no really scary ones... only a few pop out of nowhere seens... Clockwork Orange had a very interesting story the twisted and bent your train of thought
so i would go with that one
or..... maybe the original Exorsist.
Deathblow
Trouble with the Excorsist is that it has mixed effects. Some people are scared by it, some just find it stupid and laugh. Depends whether your superstitious and/or religious too.
Clockwork Orange is plain disturbing, all the sex crime and completely pointless acts of violence cry
mini me 0206
whats clockwork orange about
Flying High
resident evil(when your doing your homework)
sudden noises....n the things look scary
Deathblow
Its set in the future, this kid (Malcolm McDowell) who loves Beethoven and what not, goes psycho with a mob of his friends and start raping and brutally beating people. Then they perform an experiment on him which takes away his ability to hurt or even think about hurting people...and from that point on the movie gets too weird to explain.
Vampy
dude... did you read the book?
THAT'S disturbing... And the machine cry sooooo scary
Deathblow
omg I didn't know there was a book...
I feel so uneducated...so American
mini me 0206
i still dont get what its about
Vampy
you YANK!
there is a book... the movie was based on the book. and i read it cry
i had nightmares after it...
Deathblow
I explained it
<<Solo>>
The Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was very awesome.
Deathblow
Don't call me that ranting
I must read it
is it called A Clockwork Orange?
Vampy
yes it is
well actually the kid is called Alex De Large, he and his mates find pleasure in torturing people, he gets in jail and then cry
silver_tears
That's twisted
Vampy
i hate when movies are scary AND smart... that's just WRONG
Deathblow
I hate movies that are smart cry
It is a ****ing great movie though. Sickening, but great
Vampy
after all... Alex was kinda... good inside
Deathblow
yeah, despite the beatings, sex crimes, murders and whipping his friends with a leather...thingy
Vampy
his friend offended Beethoven
Deathblow
bastard
I would've whipped his candyass till it was bloody
Mr Zero
It depends what you find scary and what kind of scary you mean. I've never found blood and gore movies scary and I dont jump when the music gets loud and something LEAPS out onscreen. Clockwork Orange was to clinical to be scary to me.
vaya_the_elf
Guess I will have to see Clock Orange
Df02
Juon: The grudge
http://www.subwaycinema.com/frames/nyaff04-juon.htm
Vampy
clockWORK orange this is
and yeah
that bastard... they were so bad to poor Alex
Df02
ive seen that, its really gorey and quite creepy aswell...but id still rate JUON as alot more "scary" if u get me, im not too bothered by gore etc...
Takeshi Miike is, however, a legend lol....ive got Ichi the killer sat next to me right now lol
Mr Zero
I hope you mean the DVD and not the actual killer.
JUON is a more traditional HORROR - I think thats why Audition got to me so badly - by the time you work out / remember that its a horror movie..its WAY to late to do anything other than watch and whimper.
§nakehead
If your friend whants a disturbing movie tell him to rent "From Justin to Kelly".
vaya_the_elf
never heard of that movie
Deathblow
I love that movie
HockeyHorror

Very good movie, but not scary in the least. It's not supposed to be. The aliens aren't even that important to the story.

ragesRemorse
I wouldnt say there is no real scary movie. However ounce you have been desensitized by horror movies and other shocking films, then i would say there is no real horror movie. this isnt to say that you still cant put yourself in the situation and be disturbed though, but as for not trying to be scared, all of these movies leave ounce you have seen one to many movies.
