They just issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Chicago area...supposedly the storm is going to produce huge hail and 65-75 mph winds...which is way cool, methinks.

I love thunderstorms, unless I gotta go outside in them

Yeah, then it gets scary...where I live we do get tornados, and it's really scary.

Though now that I live closer to Chicago than I used to, we don't get as many tornados as we did where I used to live.

in a city in florida jacksonville (we went there to visit cousins) it rains there just about every day during the summer no joke either

i know i have a vacation house in southern fla and in the summer it rain between 4and7 every day then evaporates by the morning

...and the worst of the storm went just north of where I live. Damn. But it's still getting pretty nasty right now...the lights keep flickering on and off Though if my computer dies, that'd be bad...

Heh, just started hailing like mad...oh, and the sun just randomly decided to come out Crazy weather...I'm trying to take some pics with my digital camera, but I think the storm just stopped.

Here's pouring rain and hail out the front window of my house (the random glare is from the flash)...

And here's the hail on the ground in part of our backyard...of course, the part that I tried to get a picture of had the least amount of hail, plus the window screen got in the way...
