I like the whole scene in Memoria (Season 3) where Lionel is talking the Lillian, Lex's mother. The way he tells her to "..try. Try, Lillian". I love that. I know that's not really a quote, but I love the way Loinel talks and manipulates EVERYTHING including his wife and how he uses his son to do it.

Positive. I haven't seen season 3, and I saw Season 2's premiere for the first time last week; it's definately S2. Actually, it might be the second episode of the season, since the premiere was the tornado, and I clearly remember the Episode starting out with Lionel's chopper landing in Smallville. Yeah, Season 2, Episode 2.

Lex's father fires all the workers in the factory in Smallville, and this is when Level 3 is shown.

lol, ditto.

i loved the rock music that played loudly in the background in that scene and it got louder as Lionel boarded the Chopper as if being close to turned on Chopper engines wasn't already loud enough but you could still hear Lionel clearly saying "Your Coming Home! Son !."..The he closed the Heli door a took off as fast as he came in.

A quote i also like from the scene is from Lex when he shouts over the shows loud rock music and the overbearing Heli noise:

"The Plant was showing a profit, you're just shutting it down because you want me to work for you in Metropolis!"

And again the loud background noises, the music the heli or the shouting didn't ruin the scene not one bit, it made it intense...

I loved the way it was shot too! The camera started low, on Lex's feet, standing on the helipad, then panned up and as Lionel's helicopter landed, so the wind's whiping around and you finally see Lex's face. (Isn't he wearing sunglasses?) Then they practically run to the podium, Lex trying to talk to Lionel the whole way, where Lionel gives his little speech, maybe a minute long and takes off toward the chopper again, with Lex trying to figure out what the hell just happened!! Loved it!! THe camera movement made it seem so chaotic and the way lionel moved through the shot very deliberately, cause he was the only one who knew what was going on. So good...

lol good observation. i remember Lex looking up in unison with the camera going up then a shot of the heli landing in super-slow motion with the rock music blasting. The whole thing was superbly done and looked stylistic as hell.

Did Lionel say that as Clark in the bodyswap episode? If so, it was Clark that said it, as we are all just the sum of our parts. This is why when our body dies (death can't come too soon for some), we cease to exist!

Just one point I want to make about that episode: of all the things lionel could've done to kill his old body, he chooses to grab it by the neck and wait for something to happen. With all his speed and strength, he could've snapped his old body's neck in the blink of an eye.
