Jack Dempsey(1895-1983) won the world heavyweight title July 4 1919, With a 4 round TKO win over Jess Willard. Dempsey defended the title 5 times with 4 kos.

Than in 1926, Sept 23, He face Gene Tunney, As the boxers were being introduce, rain starts to fall, As the rounds went by Tunney had a easy time out pointed Jack Dempsey to win the world title. A year later they will fight again in 1927, title the Battle of the Long count.

And since Marciano is retire, why not a photo of his retirement speech>??

But Marciano did not lived to a ripe old age, In 1969 he will die in a plane crash,

Ok 1 you have it, I think I go for a cool combo, that Schmling did on Louis. Now rember the film is not that great.

Ok non of the Combos work as it was very fuzzy, So I show the ko of Louis, Schmling knockouts Louis in the 12 round, Nazi over American. It would make Hitler proud to know one of his Superman truimp over America's best.(But Schmling was not a Nazi if you wanted to know, He was just born in Germany, and saved a few Jews from the holocast)

yeah thaw will take time, because I have to freeze, and it would be hard to freeze the shot, because a lot of shots went to the fall of the German.

I try for a shot of Schmling getting hit, if not I have to go with Schmling, on the ground broken.

It took a few min, But I got a good shot of one of the knockdowns, The ref was in the way of the ko blow. and knockdown

Other reason I like watching boxing matchs in the Dempsey's days.

In Dempsey's time a fighter may stand were ever he may and resume his attack the moment his foe's knees leave the ground.

Notice how Dempsey stands over Willard, as the ref counts. In the film, Willard gets up, and Dempsey attacks.

A ring side ticket, Cant get in if you dont have on in 1955.

See Milk does the body good, Moore is able to dodge that Marciano punch.

But it seems Marciano had more Milk to drink as he ko's Moore in 9 rounds

if the gifs are hosted on another site then use your IMG tags

first go to the site where the pics are...right click on the mouse and then click "view image"...this will make the pic viewable on a white background

copy and paste the address of the pic into the bar that opens up on here when you click the IMG tag
