It really is a f*cking piece of sh*t. It disgusts me. All it is is blood and gore. No meaning to it whatsoever. Mr. Tarrantino needs to take his happy pills! Jemeny christmas! What the hell was all the hype about?! It was putrid. And so was the second one.

Wrong forum
You can post your thoughts on the film here

Or the Vol 2 thread, which is above that one
BadKitty

yup moose we really do care about your opinion....yup!...we sure do!
sarcasm intended
Moose789
It is one of the most bottom-of-the-barrel pieces of shit I have ever seen. Even "Return of the Killer Tomatoes" is better than this.
List at least one reason why it is good! Your only reason is probably "I LOVED the spewing blood fountains that came out of their chests, necks, arms, and legs."
BTW, The second one, it has about 40 minutes of filler for something that could have been in 5 minutes. yucky Another reason is because it didn't make much sense because it jumped around in time so much without you knowing. Then at the end there is like an "exploding heart move" then if you take 5 steps you die. How stupid is that? And what the in the world were the critics so excited about? What is so great about this movie?! How can they appreciate this rotten movie?! It absolutely sucks! There is NOTHING good about it!!

"It's a sled. It's the name of the sled he had when he was a kid. There, I just saved ya two long, boobless hours!"

Moose789, I know your new to the forum, and you might not know a lot about forums at all, but most people would appreciate topics being posted in the right forums
So please follow my link and post your opinion.
I could post it if you dont know how to get into another forum, just tell me
Have a nice day

Moose789
I fail to see what is so off topic about it. It IS in the Quentin Tarintino section! Doesn't make much sense. I have been on various message boards for years, too. Including one for 5 years.
Bierbommetje
Great, then use that experience to your advantage and post your review in the Reviews section. I think your opinion will also be read by a lot more people there.

Samas-adian
The thing that makes sense is that somebody made a thread about how they didnt like a movie, and people are angry about it. Then they make comments about how this isnt the right thread because they didnt like it. If the person said that they movie was great, nonbody would care where the thread is.
MildPossession
What a bore.
Bierbommetje
There isnt any "we"
its just me
Furthermore:
No

Moose789
It was not meant to be a review, was it? If it was, it would list the weak and strong points, and how good certain categories of stuff is on a 1 to 10 scale, then an overall rating. It would seriously have to be much longer to be considered a "review". And if it was a review, it WOULD be posted under the review section.

MildPossession
Well do a proper review about the film instead of the crap above.
Bierbommetje
Then what was the use of this thread? : confused :
Except ofcourse upping my post count

soylentorange
Wow reading your post really enlightened me. In fact I've changed not only my outlook on KB but on life as well

Imperial_Samura
Heheh, joining in the fun, I will say I liked Kill Bill for a number of reasons, intriguing fresh characters, a fascinating piece of genre study and the intertextuality is great, wonderful use of music and great direction. And personally the blood is, I believed, intended to be over the top, its self aware, which makes it good, and it adds humour to what might be a rather heavy topic, and of course pays homage to all those great Japanese genre films......
Arahael
It was a Tarantino movie, so I liked it no matter what.

neo313
if had to guess, i'd say that moose thought it would be funny to post on this forum and try to make people mad by talking sh*t about kill bill. unfortuantely, it didn't work because nobody including moose789 appears to be taking this seriously
katana wielder
dude if you really was a fan you would understand why kb was a great movie and how QT is a living genies
MildPossession
Tarantino is a genie?!?! I didn't suspect a thing. God know wonder he can make such great films.
<<Solo>>
Says the 13 year old boy, who's favorite movie is She's All That.
Phoenix Aska
All right...I think that Kill Bill was one of the the worst movies ever made no one person can take on about 30 guys and not get touched by a Kitana or sword...further more with a slash like that in Uma's back there is no wy that she should have been able to move as swiftly as she did when she fought against O ren ishii....I think that Quentin is a total dumbass and got really lucky that everyone liked all the blood spewing from everybodys' bodies.
Imperial_Samura
Its the magic of the cinama, an escape from reality, I mean, thats the thing about heroes, they are meant to be able to do things that which seems impossible, defeating impossible odds......
Bierbommetje
Phoenix Aska, you havent seen much 70's martial arts films, have you?
<<Solo>>
Exactly my thoughts.
MildPossession
IT IS A FILM, can be as far away from reality as it wants.
BadKitty
if you think that then why do you have it listed in your movie favorites...I'm just curious
Darth Sauron
And also, i doubt quentin got lucky i mean, have you seen his other films, thats not luck. Its genius.
And btw- about the bride not getting hit with a katana sword, in the not so exact words of vincent.... 'I was watching this show, and this cop said there was just him and this guy in a hallway, and he oepend up on the guy, emptied an entire clip and didnt hit him, i mean its some freaky shit, but it happens'
But of course you would know more about film making than one of the most famous directors around

What next? Are you going to tell me star wars only had fans because the men fought with glowsticks?
<<Solo>>
Genuis they are, every single one of them.
Phoenix Aska
They are not all genius...he just get's lucky...Kill Bill was a good movie but I don't think that Quentin should get this much credit...
WindDancer
Ummm...you're not making any sense here. You were saying this in your first post.
Now you're saying:

BadKitty
thats why I asked about this
then say
if I detested a movie that much it certainly wouldn't have made it into my favorite movies list
shaofutzer
It was a crap attempt at an "Asian action movie" by a pretentious, overrated cinematic plagerist that deserves none of the acclaim it has received for it is unoriginal, boring, ridiculous, and racist. Quentin himself admitted in an interview that he had never watched Asian cinema growing up in white America until he was much older - yet so many people defend him by saying things like "He grew up watching kung fu movies" and"He's paying homage to the films he grew up with".
It's more like it's something he discovered recently on the internet and was so enthralled by it that he decides to start mass watching films in order to exploit and thusly become rich off the ideas of Asian movie writers and directors. Putting his name on Hero, which is a movie he had nothing to do with is further proof he's just a money grubbing poser.
Nuff said.
MildPossession
Do explain the racism?
I explained the Hero thing also.
Bierbommetje
Ill take a guess at an explanation, cause it looks like your not getting one (surprise).

I can't believe you people (shaofutzer, Moose789, Phoenix Aska)! Kill Bill was not only a refreshing movie (compared to the shit that gets put on the market today) but it also made you think!!!! Are you really stupid enough to think that Quentin made this movie because he likes blood shooting out of people's arms? No, he did it DELIBERATELY. He did it because that's how HE MAKES MOVIES. Yes, exaggeration is a beautiful thing. He wanted to confuse you on purpose and again, go with what Asian Kung-fu movies have been doing for ages. Just because he didn't watch them 'growing up' doesn't mean he didn't put a great effort into making these movies. You may think the blood and gore are stupid, but fortunately, most of us possess enough intelligence to figure out what he REALLY meant by all the constant exaggeration.
Andrew McLeod
To defend Kill Bill I must say it's rather deep. So many questions arise if you're not arrogant and ignorant. The characters have so much emotional depth (which isn't really touched on until Volume 2) and the story is full of such mythology. Another thing, it's written with such incredible dialogue, stuff that's really witty and impactful. Also, he does everything with such incredible style. To observe, watch Chapter 9-Elle and I. All the shots in that chapter are so increibly vivid and stunning, a miraculous example of really good filmmaking. He really develops characters well in this movie as you know exactly who you want to die and who you want to live by the middle of the films. Some may say that Volume 1 was nothing but senseless action but it was so stylish and creative. Also, seeing as how I love Martial Art and Samurai movies it was such a throwback to those genres. The Spaghetti Westerns styles were really hard hitting too, being a fan of Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone.
Everything about the movie was just so great. I've seen the movies again and again and it never bores me. To watch such a great contribution to the art of filmmaking is an honour. If only people weren't so arrogant and ignorant. Those people kill art all together.
moviejunkie23
so many films always come out looking the same. i love quintins movies because you can expect something different coming from him. Kill Bill for instance is a movie that can't really be compared to anything else. I loved the acting and the script and the scenery and the music and the whole nine yards. Films like these are something new and refreshing. He took what he likes from certain things and expands on it with his own twist and makes it something brand new.
