i dont know much about comic "items" or whatever, so I'm curious as to which are extermely powerful.... I know of the infinity gauntlet, as well as the Autobot Matrix, those are really powerful. What about green lanterns ring? That should rank amongst the highest probably. Any others?

The asgardian weapons. Mjolnir, Stormbreaker and Thunderstrike, as for as Thorian weapons. Gungnir, Odin's spear as well. Eye of Agomoto and Capistan Crystal (or was it Crystal of Capistan...). To a lesser degree, power granting items are Cloak of Levitation, and Cape of Mercury both grant the power of flight.

Nabu's helmet is all I can think of from DC, but I am not as familiar with their stuff.

The Spear of Destiny appears in both comics' companies continuities, as it is the spear the pierced Christ's side and has great power.

In the world of Comic the greatest item is truly the Pencil. It is an item of true power, in the right hands it can create anything or erase everything.

Ronin the accusor's hammer is pretty powerful too..i would rate it up there with mjolnir...any weapon of the heralds of Galactus are pretty formidable...the cosmic control rod of Annihilus...the Ultimate Nullifier is one of the most powerful items....

The infinity gauntlet with all the gems, and green lanterns ring are up there. Redeemr spawns sword of Truth, and Spawns sword of injustice are also pretty god damn powerfull.

That sword Illyana had...isn't that a mystical object; and Limbo was hers, but its a place not a thing, still it was a possession and a powerful resource?

I would say a GL ring ranks pretty high in this. It power is potentialy unlimited, the only limitation is ur imagination. And its my favourate of all items DC that is.

In X-men vs. DC some years ago, there was a chair that should belong to Professor X i feel. It could take you beyond the wall of creation. It would be perfect for the premier handicaped telepath of marvel to have a chair he can go anywhere in without moving a muscle.

In DC, there would be Dream's helmet and ruby, and Death's Ankh.

Illyana had her "Soulsword". It was forged from a part of her soul and she could manifest it as a physical embodiment of her magical powers. Now whoever has it basically rules Limbo, and that job goes to Amanda Sefton, who is now known as Magik, one time flame of Nightcrawler.

A character, Nemesis (who is now appearing in Alpha Flight) has what she calls a "soulsword" although it is different from Magik's. It's made of Promethium, the living metal. It bonds with a dead host and they come back to life through the sword. It grants the power of flight, long life (Nemesis has been living through the sword for 200 years now) and some other basic superhuman enhancements.

It's a threeway tie between the Heart of the Universe, the Infinity Gauntlet, and the M'Kraan Crystal

descriptions of some of these would be cool... nothing detailed, just the basics... cuz i dont know what a lot of these are...

The Destroyer armor is extremely powerful. I think it would qualify as an item because it takes someone's soul to aquire it. This thing was designed to go toe to toe with Celestrials!

Mandarin's rings! The Doc Spectrums' crystals.

Batman's utility belt.

i think the most powerful Marvel item would in fact be The Heart Of The Universe. i have no clue what it it in the DCU.

Green lanterns ring is awsome and I also like The Hell Spawn suits even though they are parasites they are pretty strong

i'd say out of everything the Green Lantern's ring is the most powerful...as someone said before its only limit is your imagination

in the marvel universe, it is the heart of the universe, the infinite gauntlet doesnt come close as it was disabled by one snap of the living tribunal's finger, as compared to the heart of the universe, which destroyed living tribunal,... in the dc universe, gotta give it to all the rings of the green lantern corp combined{has any one forgotten parralex}

The cosmic cube is equal number one? That doesn't seem right. Kubik, Kosmos and The Shaper of Worlds would then have to be considered greater than Eternity. And the Living Tribunal didn't disable the Infinity Gauntlet, he just reversed what Warlock did.

A cosmic cube can reshape realities, but the infinity gauntlet apparently had the power of 6 cosmic cubes.

The Magus had about seven cosmic cubes and he was still afraid when he thought Warlock had an operational Infinity Gauntlet. The complete set of infinity gems are more powerful than cosmic cubes.

the heart of the universe and the cosmic cube have the same capabilities, r u nuts, a cosmic cube doesnt come newhere near the might of the heart of the universe. neway, i see that no one here is interested in the dc universe, but if ne1 is, please wudja say that im right about all the combined rings of the green lantern core being the most powerful dc universe item, i mean parralex used em to destroy mutiverses, universes n start the zero hour program.

now that i think about it, ive done some research and found that whn Thanos had obtained the cosmic cube he commanded it to make him the supreme being of the universe and it did, if it wasnt for the fact that he erroniously thought he had drained it of all its power he would still be that being so i put it back to being equal to THOTU

ok manjoro, for starters ur just not seein the facts, a cosmic cube generated ILLUSIONS!, that means that when the beyonder{a cosmic cube} destroyed death itself, it seemed like death had really been destroyed, but infact it hadnt, so when thanos used it to become a supreme being, it brought about the illusion that thanos really was the supreme being, the only impressive thing about the cosmic cube is that the illusions it generates are so powerful that ud need another cosmic cube to undo them or ud need the topmost entities of the marvel universe heirchy, otherwise the illusion would be strong that it would be impossible to seperate it from fact by even eternity or galactus. but its still in no way as powerful as THOTU
