Ok man What is up with this guy? Why wont he go the f.uck away? He acts though he is still president. In the newspaper and on the news all you hear about is Clintons surgey. It isnt just a quick reffernce, it is a fulldetail on what he underwent and what his recovery process is going to be like. Who gives a shit? i mean really. All the while, the war in Iraq, and other issues over seas like the russian situation gets a quick two paragraph blurb, or is mentioned in passing on news. I hope that lieing decieving bastard Clinton dies a horribly painfull death, i hope he gets an inoperable tumor on the base of his spine. He diddnt do a God damn thing for this country and is still trying to take the spot light.

And this is somehow Clintons fault, that he's getting press for a sergery? Yeah, I'm sure he's just calling all the newspapers and TV sations telling them all what's going on. I'm sure he's begging for press after all the negative press he got during his presidency when he got a blow job from some fat girl. What are you doing watching the news if you want to hear actual news? News stations are crap, you should know this. They're never goign to cover anything of any importance. If you don't like what they're covering on the news, don't watch it.

And how is he acting like he's still president? By getting press of his heart sergery? By giving his opinions on topics that people ASK him about? Like him or not, he is still a famous, and important person for alot of people, no different than any other celebrity.

He was a fine president, he provided good economy, lots of jobs, he was charasmatic and a fine public speaker. People liked him the world over, he wasn't the ogre that Bush is seen as by other countries. It's no coincidence that there weren't many huge problems when Clinton was around. The rest of the world respected him and liked him. Which is more then can be said about our current president.

i don't think he's trying to take away the spot light, the media just gives it to him. and on a personal note, i think he handled his presidency well.

I agree with you rR. I'm sick of hearing about Clinton and that annoying *BLEEP* of Hilary. But this time I kinda feel bad for Clinton. That bypass operation surgery is serious. I highly dislike Clinton, but this time I only wish him to get better. I'm sure that when Bush get's sick, most of his haters would also show some respect and care for the man. But then again who really knows how far anti-Bush people will go.

Anyways, whether Clintons gets well or not. It doesn't affect me in any way. So, I really won't give him much thought.

how is Clinton acting like he is still president? He has been going from state to state having democratic rally's speaking his views on America. It isnt as if he ist supproting the democratic party or anything. He is seriously having rally's on his views of what the American economy should be like. the he goes on a nation wide book tour. I am not attacking just Clinton of course, i am attacking the media and every one else who Spin Clinton as the best thing that happend to America and still praise him like we should care what he is doing.

I have nothing against Clinton and i believe he was a good President. Even though all the times you all mentioned about the positives of his Presidency were due to Congress ratheer then Clinton... but they would have not been passed if he vetoed them so you can say somewhat he helped pass them. Yet i do not like the fact that his surgery gets a higher state of importance then more serious matters like the Russian hostage situation ... or even at certain points the Florida Hurricane ..... they were covered almost equally for God sakes....

To me respect is a important thing for a leader ... and I think that no one really respected him.. and because of him other country probably laughed at us .. and people here in a our own country still make jokes about his presidency .. and hardly anyone I know ever respected him

Err... reality check? People in other countries STILL laugh at us! The reason you don't know anybody who respected him is simply because everybody you've known shared your political views. Almost everybody I know thought he was a great (for a politician at least) president... Because my friends all happen to share my political views. It's amazing how disillusioned you can get by talking to the same people all the time.

And he was not bad for the military. Just because he wasn't a warmonger doesn't mean he was destroying the military... I saw a bumper sticker somewhere, "Bush can't lose with Clinton's military". True that.

No, here is my answer. And trust me, I have argued against far tougher folk then you...

Clinton was the President, that means he was in charge. Those "republicans" had to run stuff by Clinton, and if he agreed it would get done. If he didn't agree they would change stuff around. He still had a huge say in it.

He had the Veto... correct. He needed Congres approval to pass any of his own proposals so he had to make concessions with them... thats why he got anything passed. If he vetoed at the time Congress had a 2/3rds republican majority which could easily overturned his veto and if he vetoed he would have hell to pay... and have nothing he wanted to pass EVER.... he was forced at that time to pass what they wanted... and in good faith Congress allowed some of his legislation threw.

Yes, yes. But the point is that he still had A say, and a big one. They could vote it, this is true, but he was still in charge and had a heavy influence on their decision.

Actually the Presidents job as always been overrated... he cannot even propose legislation to Congress its self... it is illegal... he has to influence a member to create it for him All the things he does on other countries meaning diplomacy has to be approved in the end by Congress he deploy troops on his own for only 70 days and Congress can withdraw them after that by cutting funding

Every President has influence over thier own party members... he was charismatic when dealing with the public but when he had to deal with congrss they said screw you I always thought he was a good guy except for the adultry thing but i always knew he had trouble dealing with congress

That Charisma surely rubbed off when he would discuss things with congress, he wasn't just charismatic, but a master debater as well. I'm sure he had no problem getting his points across.
