I'm laying on my bed
in my cheap hotel room
As the sound of G'n'Roses
fill up the room
'Shed a tear 'cause im missing you'
is a line tht somehow rings so true.

I lay there and drift away
as I think about you,
That sexy half smile
those written words of love
the yumminess in your voice.
Right now they just seem
like a good dream,
which is slowly fading away
into the cold sting of reality.

I pick up the phone
half tempted to call you.
I know we only spoke last night
but im missing you baby.
And you know what?
I'm even counting down the days
till im in your arms.

I look at the ring
which i have on my hand
A warm feeling takes over me
and i feel myself smiling
I am loved by you.
So i wipe away all my tears.
And smile as i look to
The journey ahead.
'Cause pretty soon it will just be
Me, you, and the big ole world.
