Once you have submitted your request, it will be placed in a queue subject to moderation. Almost all requests will be approved, it is only there to stop abuse.

Please note that once you have changed usernames, you will lose your current one permanently. That means you will never be able to use it again in future. Only change names if you never want to use your current username every again.

What if someone wants a name you used before but you can't go back to? Can they then use it?

I went there and submitted it, and now on my profile at the top of all of the usernames ive previously had, the one I submitted that i wanted is there..And i wanted that as my CURRENT name..

hm....i tried to change mine to Spawn.... for some reason it said the name's already taken....but its not...

They have to be approved by me, so its usually as soon as I log on, which should be within 24 hours.
