Hi is it ever mentioned in ROTK what kind of herbs where used to heal patients in the house of healing?

Athelas (Kingsfoil).

Athelas aka Asea Aranion aka Kingsfoil is what Aragorn used to heal Éowyn, Faramir and Merry... and Frodo temporarily, also in the FoTR film.


All other small plants mentioned in the books are named either because of their beautiful flowers or because they were used as pipeweed but never as herbs.
