Gundam Seed is a very popular Anime/Manga in America right now. But I think a true anime fan will quickly see through it's shoddy characters, bad animation, and boring plot. just because it has the name "Gundam", does not mean it will be good. Am I the only one who hates this show?

No, you're not. Gundam Wing will always be in my top 10 of all-time best anime series. Gundam Seed has a weak plot and badly fleshed out characters. And the voices are all former Ranma 1/2 and Digimon voice actors. Even after watching Inuyasha I can't envision anyone else other than Ranma with Richard Ian Cox's voice. He will forever be Ranma Saotome.
