Erik Tiemens' painting reveals that super battle droids may be even more of a menace when submerged. This dark and moody image was ultimately cut from the film.

The whole scene I believe with the droids, the people over at TF.t agree that it's from the federation cruiser and that it could actually be fuel - in that case we do know that Obi-wan and Anakin did go through water on set so we can expect something similar just without the droids

Do you think it could be MonCalamari? I don't think that it would be fuel. that would be tough to make believable.
