series with the best/most original/most interesting characters

Id go with Neon Gensis Evangelion or Angel Sanctuary..their casts are so human and compelling^_-

I guess right now mine would be Soul Hunter, because the characters are so different. I also like that there are so many extremes of what we go through daily.

Hm, another I really like so far would be Saiyuki.
I also like the manga Naruto...

Naruto's characters are all cliche...so are Saiyukis.They really couldn't come close to anything in this race>_<

cowboy bebop, raxephon, saiyuki, wolfs rain...ill think of more later.
