Neil Diamond: I wrote this song on the back of a Dixie cup.

i dont know. Maybe he tore the dixie cup so it was flat, then wrote on the side that didnt have the design and the wax on it.

I doubt it. Even if he did that it would be more on the inside of the cup than the back.

no because the waxy side faces you. so the opposite side is the "back"
