This has never happened to me before, has anyone else's PC done this?

that reminds me, on the network computers at school we can play around with command prompt with the right command you can send every computer in the school a message in an alert window that's fun

with the same thing, you can also shut them all down

Its an ergonomic feature designed mostly for office people to remind them to take a break for those who've been on the computer too long
its there to prevent eye strain from staring at the screen to long and also to prevent repetative strain injury and other health problems developed from sitting on your ass all day...
