whatever... i mean the people's vote doesn't really matter since the winner is decided by the electoral f*cking college. last election, al gore actually won-- by well over 500,000 votes... but since george "one finger salute" bush won the state of florida, all the electors' vote went to bush making him the winner... the rest is history.

As of right now Bush has 207 of the electoral votes, Kerry has 199...there's still 132 to be counted, though. This is one close race.

Yeah I know... I was saying it's not a vote for Bush if you would otherwise not be voting or would otherwise be voting for Bush.

And moonwalker, Nadar hurts Kerry's numbers because most likely people who vote for Nadar would otherwise lean towards Kerry. So it's like taking votes away from Kerry which helps Bush. But like I said, if you wouldn't have voted for Kerry anyway than it doesn't hurt him at all.

I can't handle this pressure. This year was my first time voting, and suddenly, I feel so involved in the democratic process But I'm proud to say I voted for Bush. Although I'm biting my nails over here, cuz every channel has a different vote count...

It's because some news organizations choose to be more careful when saying who the electoral votes have gone to. That way they don't say one candidate has won a state, and then the rest of the votes are counted, and it actually went to the other guy. Which would probably be very humiliating.
