I'm just going to post some of my poetry here...

I will leave when the time comes
Without saying a word
Ready for what the world gives me
But you,
You don't care.
When the sky crashes down around us
When the earth splits in two
When the end of all things will come

i enjoy taking the time to read your work. you have a nice flow to your words that describe all aspects of life, for better or worse, in a calm and wise manner. you take life in good hands, i see can see/read that clearly. i loved your take on megalomanic! got anymore twists to fave songs? also, the first poem made me think of lotr, about the limit or limitless length of life. i wish you well upon whatever next comes to you and that imagination. fair you well.

trapt is a good band. i haven't heard any of their songs in a while. they must be on tour and haven't released a new single yet. i guess.

This is one I wrote a while ago about the gay marriage thing... In favor of it, obviously. Hopefully this isn't too political for the forum.

I have a couple more. They were originally written as one poem with three stanzas, but I really think they sound better separately.

I also snuck a lot of quotes from various sources in there. I like doing that, for some reason.

What has become of our world?
What was once a blue gem in the mine of dark space

i love them all, makes the reader think. i like that last one most of all, goes with agent sands from once upon a time in mexico.

Man, you guys, Fuel, Trapt, Three Days' Grace, Creed, Incubus... we have some really good bands to talk about. Seems like we're almost the same, DR.

sorry to pressure you than. it's hard at times to incorporate songs into my poems...has tobe a song i really love.

I might do "Beware, Criminal!" or "Talk Show on Mute", or the one that says "Who am I? I am I". I love that line.

Well, I don't watch MTV, but I'd guess no. You'd be surprised how many good bands there are whose music they don't play on the radio or anything.

Oh, and in case you were wondering about the title... I was on this other forum and somebody was talking about how great Bush was. They went on and on about all this patriotic crap, "he stands for what he believes in," "I am among millions of americans who support the war", etc etc. Then at the end of the post, they stuck in, "Oh and he's a cowpoke which is cute".

Here's my new poem... And yes, this is based on the Incubus song, though only two lines and the title of it... I was thinking about a lot of things today and I needed some way to condense them down and put them on one piece of paper, then I listened to this song and I got a rare burst of inspiration...

What is it with life
One minute sitting in school
Thinking about how bored you are

No, I'm not, because I was constantly getting left behind... It moved too fast. And I felt like I was being gradually distanced from the main plot and the rest of the characters.

i fairly recently joined and some of the players like melkore, fallin angel, and gunnar stahl always made me feel included.

btw, for our western story, are we up to starting the story or do we still need to discuss and explain things a bit more?

Fallin Angel and Gunnar Stahl are both very nice, I play other games with both of them, but somehow I just wasn't enjoying this one.

For the western... Let's just go ahead and start it, but I have to warn you that I won't be on between Thursday and Monday or Tuesday of next week.

alright then. you can always notify me of when you're on and ready to write then. when you are online, we can discuss on the starting points of the plot and so forth. savvy?
