Althought I have heard her songs on the radio for a while now, it was only today that I finally connected that she sang the song "scar". I saw the video clip on Rage. Sad, really, that a 50+ lady from work would tell me about Missy Higgins when her kids were watching the ARIAs the other week.

Not that this will receive alot of replies, but anyone like Missy Higgins' music?

I came across this thread while searching Missy Elliot then later that night I saw a Missy Higgins Music video on t.v.

I'm not sure if I like her stuff.. Haven't heard her enough to decide.

I second that... she is up herself a bit too, thinking that she is big weal already
in the industry just because she is on the cover of every musc mag'. Joning the band wagon and doing cover songs on a compilation with other
recently discovered artists. That sort of thing is for 20 to 30 years down the track.

"Sold Me Out" should be her anthem.

i actually like her cd, bought it ages ago, i dont know, her sound is so home grown, i liker her voice, i dunno, its not the most original but its not the worst stuff out there by a long shot

I don't like people who get to big for their boots.. especially early on.. like Joss Stone.

i dont think shes gotten big for her boots, the media grabbed her, touted her as the next big thing, plastered her all over magazines and award shows and the radio and dispite all this coverage i think shes keeping a pretty level head. lots of people dont like her because she went from nothing to something so quickly. its a bum rap
