So, hey . . . I read in Maxim that Harrison Ford agreed to be the next James Bond! I think he'll be great!

I think its a good choice. He has the potential to be a great James Bond. I'm a big fan and own every film.

Yea I argee he is too old for the part.I don't know who would make a good james bond but to me it does not matter since I don't like his firms anyway.

Sure it is. Did you see the last Bond movie? If that wasn't a joke, I'd be worried.

I don't think it matters who plays 007 anymore, I haven't liked any of those movies since Sean Connery stopped doing them. They're all so predictable.

Big opening scene with lots of explosions.

Nasty villian (usually from Russia) gets introduced.

Mission: retrieve the microfilm and kill the bad guy!

Goes off to some exotic location, sleeps with hot girl.

Leaves hot girl asleep in bed, snoops around bad guy's castle.

Lots of shooting, car chases and absailing.

Kills bad guy.

Sleeps with hot girl again.

End.

Ford's a great actor, but a bit to old to be playing Bond in my opinion. I was hoping for Ewan McGregor or Hugh Jackman.

A very bad bad choice. Mainly for three reasons:

1: He is american, not british.

2: He is too asociated to some popular characters like indiana jones, han solo or jack ryan. He could be credible as bond, all the people could say: hey, is indiana jones playing bond, or is han solo playing 007.
The actor should be more unknowed or at least not asociated to a popular character.

3: He is too old. If roger moore was ridiculous playing bond at his 55 or 60s in a view to kill or octopussy, imagine Ford with 62 years old.

What a awful choice.

Harrison played a pretty good Russian....Other then the reason he is older then most Bonds....I do not see why an American can not play the role. If one can get an accent down, it should not matter where the actor is from. That is just being biased and I feel anyone should be given a chance.

Though, I do have to admit..Sean Connery and Pierce Bronson are the BEST bonds out there.
